We made a path that goes through the ecological niches of the farm: meadow, forest, hedge, vineyard, vegetable garden.
The trail is autonomously walkable, referring to the map that you can download here or pick up in the winery house. The journey takes about 30 minutes and is appropriate to have boots or sneakers. That could get dirty.
Walking in agricultural eco-systems.
The trail was designed by Hannes and Johanna, landscape architects, from Sweden, and has been made by young men and women who, like them, were in Cascina Belmonte as part of the cultural exchange project called WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farm ).
Marco Meneguz, naturalist biologist, oversaw much of the route, taking care especially where it is strongly related to wild animals. In the video found at the Biodiversity page, it takes us through vineyards and woods, through the grass, telling and explaining what hurried eyes can not see.
