It has a futuristic ring to it, fresh and full of promise. And that’s exactly how we want our farming to feel: forward-looking, grounded not in productivity for its own sake, but in an ecological approach that protects and nurtures the land.
We farm around 20 hectares. Nine are dedicated to vineyards. We grow fifteen grape varieties — eight red and seven white — and produce around 40,000 bottles of wine and organic fruit juices each year. These aren’t just products; they’re what allow us to care for and improve the land we’ve chosen to protect.
In the coming years, Cascina Belmonte will embark on new and diverse journeys: in pursuit of natural wines, nutrient-rich juices, and deeper connections with the needs of the community. We envision vibrant green spaces full of biodiversity, hedgerows to rest wandering eyes, outdoor tables where people can share local flavors, and long nights celebrating the arrival of spring.
Little by little, a piece of the city’s chaos will find peace in the countryside — and a bit of the countryside’s quiet will travel back to the city in the form of sensations, stories, and bottles. A kind of cross-pollination between humans and nature. A union born to produce clean fruits — wine, environment, and fair wages for those who share in this adventure.
It all began with a deep love for a beautiful place.
A love that our parents, Laura and Vittorio, nurtured for many years. Cascina Belmonte was born in the early 2000s. For a time, it was our mother Laura who ran it — the perfect place to put down roots, build a home, raise horses and two children.
Years passed. My brother Mario and I (Enrico) grew up, but our affection for this place never faded. In fact, it was that deep, almost instinctive bond — the desire to see this land protected, fertile, and alive — and the awareness of its value and history, that led us to continue cultivating it. Just as it had been, and as we hope it always will be.
Not simply a physical place made of soil and buildings, but a place of the heart. A life choice, built on dreams and emotions.

I fell in love with the countryside, the land, and the idea of respectful, conscious farming during my teenage years. A life in tune with the seasons and their rhythms — a timeless metaphor for existence itself.
I deepened this passion by earning a degree in Agricultural Science and Technology in 2005, with a first thesis on the Rebo grape variety and a second on the ecology of beneficial insects in the vineyard.
After gaining meaningful experience and expanding my knowledge of organic farming in Denmark and through travels across Europe, I returned to Italy with a suitcase full of ideas — and a dream: to build a modern and innovative farming project.
